Nurse Practitioner, Sheri Sobrato Brisson Brain Cancer Survivorship Program
Alexa Greenstein is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at UCSF who specializes in brain tumor care. Alexa attended James Madison University, in Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She received nurse fellowship training at Princeton University Medical Center, where she developed a passion for neurosurgical patient care. Alexa then procured her Master of Science Degree, graduating summa cum laude, from The College of New Jersey.
As a member of the Sheri Sobrato Brisson Brain Cancer Survivorship Program, she is committed to managing late and long-term effects of brain cancer and ensuring each brain cancer survivor at UCSF experiences high-quality care. Her extensive knowledge and experience allows patients to be well cared for and well informed throughout their health journey. Helping patients’ improve the quality of their lives is the most rewarding aspect of her career. Alexa is excited and honored to be a part of the Sheri Sobrato Brisson Brain Cancer Survivor team.
