Candice Velasco

Candice Velasco is the Caregiver Program Coordinator at the UCSF Neuro-Oncology Gordon Murray Caregiver Program, which provides education, support, and resources for caregivers of brain tumor patients.
Prior to joining the cancer center, Candice worked at the Department of Anatomic Pathology at the SFVA hospital and before that she worked at UCSF Citywide Case Management with the Adult Probation Team. She has a background in counseling and worked for over 4 years in a SF community-based residential rehabilitation program for seniors with mental health and co-occurring disorders.
In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, cats, going on long hikes and bike rides around the Bay Area.
