Cherrie Demayo is a seasoned registered nurse with a background in clinical research and adult patient care. Currently serving as the nurse coordinator for the Neuro-Oncology Gordon Murray Caregiver Program, she coordinates and leads efforts aimed at enhancing the quality of life for neuro-oncology caregivers.
Cherrie’s nursing career spans 15 years of providing care to adult and older adults with a variety of medical conditions, most notably in the areas of clinical research, palliative care, and family caregiving. Her broad experience led her to dedicate her career to research and the holistic care of the patient-caregiver dyad. As part of the Neuro-Oncology Gordon Murray Caregiver team, Cherrie is committed to addressing the unmet needs of neuro-oncology caregivers and developing interventions and programs to support them in their role and improve their well-being.
