Mary Destri, MBA

Before joining the UCSF Neuro-Oncology team, Mary Destri spent nearly two years as the Program Manager of the UCSF Patient and Family Cancer Support Center (formerly the Cancer Resource Center). In that position, she launched several new programs, including Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery, Healing in Nature at the SF Botanical Garden, and Horses as Healers at Miwok Stables in Mill Valley. Prior to that position, she was the Communications Specialist at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. She enjoys offering wellness programs to patients, to help empower them to live their best lives.

Her role will be to coordinate programming that offers care for patients and caregivers through direct outreach, support groups, special events, and education. These services are provided as part of the UCSF Neuro-Oncology Gordon Murray Caregiver Program and Sheri Sobrato Brain Cancer Survivorship Program.
