Postdoctoral Scholar

Sara Hadad currently serves as a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UCSF. Her primary research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, statistical genetics, computational biology, survival analysis, and data analysis. She collaborates closely with mentors, including Dr. Annette Molinaro, Dr. David Solomon, Dr. John Wiencke, and Dr. Jennie Taylor, actively participating in the analysis of data from various UCSF Brain Tumor Center projects that integrate genetics, genomics, epidemiology, and immunology datasets. Her work frequently involves predicting clinical outcomes from extensive datasets.

Furthermore, she has cultivated collaborations with renowned institutions such as Harvard Medical School, Mayo Clinic, UCLA, Brown University, and Dartmouth College. These collaborations have not only expanded her scientific horizons but have also nurtured her ability to work creatively and collaboratively.

She has been acknowledged for her outstanding contributions, receiving several grants and fellowships from George Mason University. She was also honored with the 2019 Student Scholarship at the Grace Hopper Celebration.
