Stacy Wong is a SF Bay Area native and nurse practitioner with specialty training in acute care. She has been working as an NP in the department of neurosurgery since 2011. Stacy partners closely with Dr. Shawn Hervey-Jumper in the care and management of adult patients undergoing surgery for brain tumors. 

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of California at Davis. Stacy then pursued her interest in healthcare with a second Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duke University. After graduation, Stacy moved back to the Bay Area to work as a clinical nurse on the Neuroscience Transitional Care Unit at UCSF Medical Center where she took a keen interest in the acute care of neurosurgical patients. Stacy then pursued her advanced practice degree at UCSF School of Nursing where she received her MSN Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree. 

Stacy is proud to work with the UCSF Department of Neurosurgery and is inspired to provide the most comprehensive and compassionate care to all her patients.
