Dr. Jimenez specializes in providing care to adults with brain tumors, including helping patients and their support systems navigate their survivorship journey. As a clinical neuropsychologist, Dr. Jimenez provides neuropsychological evaluations, neurocognitive rehabilitation strategies, and psychosocial emotional support services. Her role is to collaborate with patients and caregivers in developing strategies to assist with treatment goals. She also aims to improve quality of life by providing equitable and culturally responsive care that maximizes brain health and wellness.
Dr. Jimenez' research efforts focus on medical ailments, cognitive functioning, and diversity related themes. Additional interests include improving quality of care for marginalized/underrepresented communities with a history of brain tumors by integrating culturally responsive services to increase the utilization of healthcare and psychological services.
