Specialty: Adult neurosurgery
Tracy Ward is an acute care nurse practitioner who specializes in the care of patients who need surgery for either benign or malignant brain masses. Ward strives to enhance the quality of care provided before and after surgery, knowing the significant impact this can have on recovery.
During her years working as a registered nurse on a trauma unit and in neurointensive care at UCSF, Ward developed a passion for the care of neurosurgical patients. Now as a member of a unit-based leadership team, Ward is also involved in developing programs to improve patient safety and experience at UCSF.
