Coping with Forgetfulness

UCSF neuropsychologist Dr. Christina Weyer Jamora shares strategies to manage changes in thinking, like feeling more forgetful and distracted. Specifically she recommends: (1) using improved sleep, relaxation, and exercise help to reduce stress-related forgetfulness (2) managing expectations about productivity and overstimulation to reduce overexertion related cognitive fatigue (3) presenting self-pacing to reduce distractibility, and (4) scheduling and enhanced routines to reduce forgetfulness.
