Transsphenoidal and Endoscopic Surgery for Pituitary Tumors

Most adult and pediatric pituitary tumors can be completely removed with microsurgical or endoscopic approaches through the nose, and cure rates at UCSF’s California Center for Pituitary Disorders are above 90%. More of these operations have been performed at UCSF than any other site in the United States.
