This phase 1/2 trial is evaluating the safety, side effects, and best dose of selinexor given in combination with standard radiation therapy to treat children and young adults with newly diagnosed high-grade gliomas (HGGs) that have alterations in the gene that encodes histone 3 (H3 K27-altered).

The purpose is to evaluate cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning over time in patients already enrolled in a Children’s Oncology Group Phase III clinical trial.
