Medulloblastoma
Standard therapy for newly diagnosed average-risk or low-risk medulloblastoma includes surgery, radiation therapy, and treatment with chemotherapy medications like cisplatin.

This is a phase 2 clinical trial that will evaluate the efficacy of difluoromethylornithine (DFMO) as a single agent against molecular high risk and very high risk medulloblastoma as well relapsed/refractory medulloblastoma.

The study will use a new treatment approach based on the molecular characteristics of each participant’s tumor by testing the feasibility of performing real-time drug screening on tissue taken during surgery, and of having a specialized tumor board assign a treatment plan based on the results of this screening and genomic sequencing.

This phase II clinical trial will evaluate the efficacy of reduced craniospinal radiation therapy in combination with chemotherapy for patients with newly diagnosed WNT-driven medulloblastoma.
