Managing Seizures: Anti-epileptic Drugs

Seizures can be controlled with anti-epileptic drugs. These medications, which need to be taken daily to reduce the risk of seizures, can have side effects like drowsiness and dizziness. UCSF neuro-oncologist Jennie Taylor, MD, PhD, explains that goal is to balance the risk of seizures with the side effects of the anti-epileptic drugs.
